Instead, she will divide her time between Washington, New York, to be with her son Barron, and Palm Beach, Florida, to revisit the Trumps’ time at Mar-a-Lago after their first departure from the White House.
In All or Nothing, Wolff elaborated on the marriage of Donald and Melania. He went on to say that Melania allegedly found amusement in her husband’s presidential campaign’s attempt “to get her to accompany her husband” while they were campaigning. Except for the past few months, she has been completely absent on the campaign trail.
It had been obvious that Melania would not appear since the first indictment in New York, when she had merely scoffed at the campaign’s attempt to have her come with her husband (‘Nice try’). She had skipped out on making any campaign appearances in the previous year. In 2023, she made an appearance aboard an aeroplane just once, and that was when she hitched a ride. Even while staff and reporters were aware of the Trumps’ unconventional living arrangements and their intentional isolation from one other during their time in the White House and at Mar-a-Lago, the Melania issue miraculously did not arise during those times, according to Wolff.
Melania persisted in being an extra diva, flatly rejecting all attempts to have a conversation or even just be seen alongside her husband. He had never before been the subject of direct inquiry regarding their romance by news outlets. “However, what if ‘Where’s Melania?’ began now in earnest?” he asked.
Things were different before the shooting, though. now that Trump’s life was threatened, he became once again undeniably the most important person in the world, if not the most important person in history, and he became an electoral hero. Additionally, his convention became the glorious and humiliating coronation that he had always imagined.

Speaking at the ceremony, Melania said: “Love has inspired me to embrace forgiveness, nurture empathy, and exhibit bravery in the face of unforeseen obstacles.”
